In 1994, at 20 years old, Dave Hauk had an idea that has developed into a thriving business. Apollo Express, Inc. started with a straight truck and 1 employee-the owner Dave Hauk. The idea was simple and is today still part of what Apollo Express, Inc. has to offer. Dave took a gamble and it has been a win-win for everybody over the last 15 years. Today Apollo Express, Inc. delivers, at a minimum, 2 tractor trailer loads daily of freight for multiple LTL carriers into grocery warehouses around the St. Louis metro area. In addition Apollo Express, Inc. is delivering other tough deliveries for the common carrier. Overnight Apollo grew from a simple local carrier to an over the road dedicated, expedited nationwide carrier.

Today Apollo Express, Inc. is still providing service for the majority of the companies who got us off the ground. Our “can” do attitude sets us apart from many of our competitors. Currently Apollo Express, Inc. has 25 over the road tractors, 50 - 53 foot air ride e-track trailers, 6 straight trucks with lift gates, a few flat beds and cube vans. In addition we have a 20,000 square foot warehouse in the heart of Earth City, MO. This enables us to provide whatever service our customer’s need, whenever they need it. We provide service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. In 2003 we got our truck brokerage authority.  It was something we needed to have to be able to provide our shippers with an alternative when our own equipment was not available. We are very careful with who we partner with as we believe a broker truck is simply an extension of ourselves.

Apollo Express, Inc. has diversified themselves into a full service transportation company. There is virtually nothing we can’t handle. All drivers are TSA certified to handle freight within the Air Freight Industry. We can handle same day local pickup and delivery on LTL up to full loads within the St. Louis commercial zones.  We handle hot shot deliveries from van to tractor trailer anywhere, anytime and truckload service in and out of St. Louis to 48 states. We also provide local pickup and delivery service for LTL carriers who do not have a St. Louis facility. With the addition of our experienced brokerage department we can offer our customer base an alternative to just utilizing our equipment. Our staff and customers all are treated like family.
